Nick Markowski LLB (Hons) DipLP NP

Nick is the senior partner who has been a partner at T Duncan & Company for over 20 years. He joined the firm after obtaining an LLB at Glasgow University. As a specialist in criminal law, claims and litigation, he is well known throughout the courts of Angus and the north east of Scotland.

Julie Young LLB (Hons) DipLP NP

Julie Young joined T Duncan & Company in 2008, having previously practiced in Dundee and Arbroath. She specialises in the areas of family and matrimonial law as well as providing representation to clients in the civil and criminal courts and before tribunals.

Norman Fraser LLB NP


Norman Fraser is the elder statesman of this Firm having graduated from Aberdeen University in 1970. Following his Traineeship (then known as Apprenticeship) he qualified as a Solicitor in 1973. Since then he has practiced law both in local government and since 1980 in private practice. He will undertake most kinds of Chamber and Court work.

Derek M Devine LLB(Hons) Dip L.P. WS NP


Derek Devine is a graduate of Strathclyde University who trained in Ross-shire before practicing for ten years in Berwickshire. He joined T Duncan & Co in 2015 and practices within the areas of property law, conveyancing and private client work, including wills and powers of attorney.

Sarah Russo BA LLB DipLP NP


Sarah joined T Duncan & Co in 2018.  Having graduated from Dundee University, she has worked for a number of years as a Solicitor with firms in Dundee, Forfar and Arbroath.  Sarah has extensive experience in all areas of litigation.  She provides regular representation to clients in the criminal courts.

Iain Skea

Property Manager

Iain Skea is the Property Manager of T Duncan & Company having joined the firm in January 2018. He offers a friendly and efficient service, he is experienced in both marketing properties for sale and the letting of residential properties.
