T Duncan & Company are the leading law practice and estate agency service within the Angus town of Montrose on the east coast of Scotland. We provide a comprehensive range of legal and estate agency services from two offices in High Street, Montrose.

We are a long established legal firm, having provided legal and property services to a number of generations of the people of Montrose and district. The legal practice has expanded over the years to the extent that the six solicitors who now work within the Legal Office are able to offer to clients a comprehensive service over the whole spectrum of legal requirements.

The firm was established in 1967 by the late Tom Duncan, who had been a partner in the long standing Montrose legal firm of Alexander Lyell & Company. In 1970, the firm moved to its present legal office at 192 High Street, Montrose and, thereafter, developed steadily throughout the 1970s and 1980s. In 2003, the Property Office was opened at 143 High Street, almost directly opposite the Legal Office.

From its beginnings as a one-man firm, T Duncan & Company is now one of the largest legal businesses in the north east of Scotland outwith Aberdeen and Dundee, with six solicitors, including the two partners, Kenneth Bruce and Nick Markowski, now working within the firm.
